Download and install PS3 Media Server. It will play anything your throw at it including rar and iso files with video files within. By far the best solutions. Give it a shot! http://rapidshare.com/files/237312598/pms-setup-windows-1.10.51.exe

I suggest you guys who had problems change over to PS3 Media Server. Its the best out there right now!

Awesome tip mate! I was wondering why srt files wasn’t getting streamed to the PS3… This worked perfect!

I tried all of this, but Tversity doesn’t even run any more. PlayStation says the data is corrupt, ffdshow doesn’t start up to transcode… :-( Nothing works. No media stream at all.

Yes, firewall exceptions and port mappings are okay.

I have tryed that guide now 10 times. from scratch… And i still can’t get the damn thing to work, just no subs on the movies. Also tryed to hardcode the subs into the avi. but the program keeps giving various errors. Guess ther’s no way i can get it to work. Using Vista btw.

Hi, thanks 4 all the help !

I dowloaded a movie in .mkv got the .srt but they do not work.
The problem occurs only with this one movie, all other .mkv files work perfectly with .srt

What could be the issue?
I tried renaming the file with a shorter name…
