Well, totally lack of updates since coming back to M’sia. I really enjoyed lepaking with my buddies here. Night life awesome la but can’t be doing this too often. Wallet gets kering too fast >_<.Flying off to Perth on V-day and back to Melbourne later in the week. Aiya, the V-day plan to watch Jumper with the single friends had to be canceled because of my no-show :D
I’ll be flying first time on business class! I will be quite noob on the airplane. I wonder what kind of special service I’ll get from the air stewardess…Hmmm…
This month have been quite busy and I’ve got less time to work on the MG kit I bought. Worked quite a few with Jo but this is my first MG kit which I worked on by myself! I’m quite proud of it XD!
Haven’t been in the mood to update. Too much work to do, especially catching up with non-stop assignment.
Landing a cake on a person’s face isn’t as easy as I thought.
Trying to get to know someone but trying not to make it so obvious isn’t so easy too. Maybe I should let destiny find its way.
Having lousy group member isn’t fun at all. My perception on Aussies has changed.
Having a computer breakdown when two assignment are due the following day isn’t fun at all. Talk about lack of sleep.
Using a spare power supply i had lying around. About time I bought the Corsair 620HX. I’ve been dying to have one. Oh and I forgot, Merdeka! The only patriotic thing I’ve done this time is taking pictures with the Jalur Gemilang at South Lawn, not very patriotic at all. I wonder if they sang the national anthem in the clubs, or a remix would be fun. Negarakuku?
On lighter note, this Friday is set to be an awesome night. Bullet for My Valentine hits Melbourne. Can’t wait. Also, WWE Raw is coming to Melbourne again. I was first in line at Ticketek last Friday to get good seats. Can’t wait to see WWE live again!
I just can’t wait for September. Funeral for a Friend and Bullet for My Valentine! I know, i know….most of you people hasn’t even heard of the names of these bands and give judgement by saying it sucks. Especially when you’ve never listened anything from them. It’s a big slap in the face when someone says that but hey, these bands are quite famous in the western side of the world. What’s up people, still sleeping in the years of Britney Spears? They don’t suck, they’re just a different genre and most people don’t listen to alternative rock, punk rock, metal or any emo stuff. Radio is too mainstream nowadays, only appeals to the vast majority. Well, i just wanna rant a bit about this stuff. I can’t hold myself back when someone just says a band just suck, not even listening to it once. I’m not angry or anything but I wanna try to recommend music that most people never listened before and try to change their perception about it. I’ve done it countless times, and I get lots of positive feedback. My friend in M’sia has turned from non-believer to everything about AFI. If it sounds good to your ears, there’s no holding back no matter what genre it is.
AFI’s “Love Like Winter”
Bullet For My Valentine’s “All These Things I Hate”
Funeral For a Friend’s “Into Oblivion (Reunion)”
I have tons of videos I wanna post but it’ll clog the pages up. Go on and dig it!
Been a long time, no it’s not dead. Just taking a long break from the blogging scene. So, I last posted before winter? That’s a whole lot of time! Lots of things been happening lately but nothing really worth noting. Well, I’ve started working part time and getting some fair bit of money. Oh, Kin Wai came to Melbourne for a short holiday and that was quite fun. We played drinking games but it lasted very short before turning into a drinking session. Somehow we managed to take lots of photos and I could barely remember anything from that night…
New semester aye! and yes I did pass the hardest subject, Mechanics of Solids. I know somebody got 99% for it but I’m just not that smart. F!$%@ GEEKS! QM1 lectures tells me something is very wrong with Civil Eng lectures. We’re lacking both quantity and quality of GIRLS. We get some girls, but most of them are just girls who look like guys. I swear even the Enviro Eng lectures have more girls than Civ Eng. But yes, this is Civ Eng (made for guys).
Some other updates. Got my rig with a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme heatsink, brand new Geil 2GB memory kit and an AMD Opteron 175 Dual Core! I just love my PC, it just needs a new case, PSU and Graphics card. Running solid for almost 3 years now and I still think this socket 939 rig beats the crap out of any other Intel rigs!
I’ve been thinking of enhance the looks of my living room. I am sick of how it looks and it needs something pretty to brighten things up. Internet in this apartment is another problem. It’s just so slow and unstable I don’t feel like doing anything on the internet anymore. Luckily I’m signing up for iinet. Lets see how things go.
Went to Anberlin’s intimate gig last night at Corner Hotel. The show was awesome. It was power performance since the beginning when they played “A Whisper And A Clamor” to get everyone to clap their hands and go there were intense moshing right at the back but I was right at the front so it was pretty OK for me =D. They played most of my favourite songs and a cover of Radiohead’s “Creep!” from the AOL under cover session. I was quite nice seeing them play acoustics and everyone just sang along to “The Unwindling Cable Car” and “dismantle.repair”. The most pops were “Adelaide”, “Godspeed” and songs from the old album such as “Paperthin Hymn” and “Never Take Friendship Personal”. I’ve gotta say they sound really awesome live, much louder and it was fuckin good. Copeland gave quite a performance but Angela’s Dish was dissapointing, I think they need a better vocalist. Copeland is pretty good listen for those who dig Death Cab for Cutie. Looking forward to Bullet for My Valentine and most likely to attend Fall Out Boy and Jack’s Mannequin show in September.
On a more personal note, I’ve began to hate indecisive people. I know it’s hard to make decisions and those suffering from it can often spend whole days in the house or garden, or right in front of the computer unable to decide what they should do. Study or relax. Obviously, understanding what you want to achieve and stop trying to get more information on something will help with indecisive people. Make your own choices and hope for the better. Life’s not perfect, there are risks but it’s not the end of the world. I’m quite indecisive myself but seeing as things go, I’m starting to make better and smarter choices for myself. Take control of your life. Back to some studies, peace. xoxoxo
